Bio

Jo Nketiah is an African female writer from Ghana. Her writings are inspired by everyday happenings and observations. She believes in the power of using one’s voice to tell their own stories in many diverse ways and from a different perspective.

Jo’s works cut across many genres like poetry, prose, short stories, and screenplays. She is noted for writing the short film HALF A SONG TO SING, which was submitted into the 2016 My Rode Reel Short Film competition and co-wrote the narrative short film AT SEVEN. Jo Nketiah resides in Accra and works as a Registered Medical Sonographer.
